The 2G Surf line is the lowest end machine Asus is making. This line comes with 512MB RAM and 2GB hard drive. It is also available in many different colors and retails for $299.99.
The next tier is the 4G Surf model. These units come with 512MB RAM and 4GB hard drives. These are not the Galaxy Models. These are the lower end 4G models.
Closely following in the 4G's footsteps is the 4G models available in Black or White. These models, as is the same with the standard 4G Surf model, come with 512MB RAM and 4GB hard drives. The separation comes with the addition of a web cam.
The next tier is the 8G model, which at the time of writing this, has very limited stock available on the web. The 8G unit is a decent step up in hardware with 1GB of RAM, an 8GB hard drive and a web cam. This unit will also be Windows XP compatible and the drivers will be included.
